A History of Experience

WTS stands out as the first company to host JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and World product families, focusing solely on deploying, hosting, and supporting Oracle enterprise software and complementary products. Today WTS is the strategic hosting partner for these Oracle solutions.

The company was founded in 1997 by WTS President and CEO Tom Hughes, J.D. Edwards, and a team of highly-seasoned IT executives and consultants in response to market demand for enterprise application hosting and support services. This team of professionals created a service offering designed to meet and exceed market expectations for hosted solutions. The WTS business model addressed customer requirements for application and data center management, hardware and database deployment, systems performance and monitoring, security, network and communications infrastructure, application implementation, remote applications management, and project management.

The heart of WTS's success in the burgeoning application service provider (ASP) market centers on nurturing long-term relationships with vendors and customers, as well as our employees. We leverage our relationship with one of the world's largest enterprise software suppliers and our commitment to highly personalized service, to create scalable and adaptable solutions for our customers.

Oracle is an equity investor in WTS. When WTS created the model that preceded today's ASP offerings, we solicited strategic input from the software vendor whose products we would be offering to the marketplace. The idea of "ERP Outsourcing" was considered key to opening new markets for enterprise software and was predicted to be a very successful delivery model for many new customers.

Many WTS employees have long-standing relationships with top executives at Oracle and key contacts with our strategic partners. These relationships bring significant value to our customers and are instrumental in the successes of the company.

WTS has more than 45 enterprise customers, ranging in size from $25M to over $6B, with a user base exceeding 8,000 EnterpriseOne and World users across 17 time zones. We provide services to clients in industries across many Oracle verticals, including life sciences, architectural, engineering and construction (AEC), packaged goods, foods, property management, logistics/distribution, mining, professional services, energy/chemical, and manufacturing.
